Victoria Mall is a Paralegal at The Harris Law Firm, where she brings a unique perspective and over a decade of experience in tax law to our growing tax law practice.
Despite a long-standing interest in the legal field, Victoria’s journey to becoming a Paralegal was somewhat unconventional. After considering a career in law in college, she ended up in the nonprofit sector and, later, a career in tax resolution. It was during this time that she discovered her knack for untangling the complexities of tax issues and eventually transitioned solely into tax law, where she honed her skills and deepened her understanding of the legal intricacies in this domain.
As a Paralegal at The Harris Law Firm, Victoria leverages her experience handling financial audits to assist clients in gathering and analyzing pertinent information and forming comprehensive resolution strategies tailored to their unique circumstances. With her extensive background in tax law, she offers invaluable insights into tax-related matters involving audits, IRS collections, and business taxation, as well as crucial support to clients with tax implications arising from high net worth, large estates, and complex divorce and estate planning issues that demand a fresh taxation perspective. Clients and colleagues alike appreciate her attention to detail, creativity, and ability to devise new approaches to problems.
In addition to her legal acumen, Victoria is also mindful of the need to provide meaningful support to clients who are navigating the often confusing and convoluted realm of tax law. Her approach in these matters is centered on providing as much guidance as possible, listening to her clients’ concerns, and addressing their issues using her knowledge of applicable tax regulations and resolution strategies. By creating a supportive environment, she gives clients the power to actively participate, better understand key issues in their cases, and explore options that make the process easier for them overall.
A Texas native, Victoria attended the University of Oregon and lived in Denver for over a decade before buying land in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, where she lives in a yurt and is working on developing a homestead with gardens and animals. When she is not helping clients with their legal matters, she enjoys cooking, reading, and visiting local farmer’s markets.
