Linda Germanson is a paralegal at The Harris Law Firm in Colorado. She has always been interested in the law and a paralegal career. Her passion for true crime and courtroom shows paired with her problem-solving knack convinced her that being a paralegal and assisting attorneys in important cases was her calling.

While working as a paralegal, Linda has helped manage cases from many different legal fields, but family law quickly became her passion. As someone who has gone through a divorce herself, she knows how important every detail of a case can be, as well as how appreciative a client feels when their attorneys and support team genuinely listen to them. Linda also gained permanent custody of her nephew at birth, so she has had firsthand experience with social services procedures, complex family law and child custody issues, and other related processes.

A defining moment of Linda’s career as a paralegal occurred when she was helping with a parenting time dispute. She was on the phone with the client, who had just called the police after the father demanded physical custody of the children in contradiction to a protection order. Linda calmed the client down and spoke with the police, who then removed the father from the property without further incident.

Born in Bay Shore, Long Island, New York, Linda moved to Colorado Springs when she was four years old. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School. She has three adult children and is the grandmother of three wonderful grandchildren who all live in Strasburg, Colorado. In her spare time, Linda likes to watch pro sports, play bunco, watch movies, or stay active through walking, hiking, appreciating the mountains of Colorado, and traveling.
