Lauren Aguirre is an Associate Attorney at The Harris Law Firm in Colorado. Lauren joined our team as an attorney who is passionate about using collaborative approaches to family law and divorce. When working together, no issue is too big or too small.
Before joining The Harris Law Firm, Lauren spent nearly ten years working as an attorney in California, both at a private family law firm and at East Bay Children’s Law Offices, a non-profit representing children in the Oakland Bay Area. Lauren’s practice is driven by her desire to meet clients where they are and helping to navigate the legal process. Her calm, steady-under-pressure approach to casework shines through, both in court and during negotiations.
Lauren attended Seattle Pacific University and earned a B.A. in Psychology. She then traveled to California to complete her J.D. at Santa Clara University School of Law. While in law school, she worked with Bay Area Legal Aid and helped research and draft an appellate brief in support of adequate domestic violence restraining order renewals [Avalos v. Perez, 196 Cal. App. 4th 773 (2011)]. Since starting her legal career, Lauren has gained bar admissions in California, Massachusetts, and Colorado.
Lauren grew up in the Denver area, so she felt right at home when she returned to Colorado to work with The Harris Law Firm. She loves to find ways to stay involved in her community and often volunteers at her kids’ schools. When she has some free time, though, Lauren likes to practice yoga, read novels, and spend time exploring new places with her family.
