The Meals on Wheels organization depends on and appreciates people like
Niceta Bradburn and her family. Niceta, a family law attorney with The Harris Law Firm,
and her kids, helped to deliver meals to those who in need last weekend.
The Volunteers of America's Meals on Wheels Program serves many counties throughout Colorado including: Denver, Adams, Clear Creek, Arapahoe, Jefferson, Gilpin, Larimer, and Douglas counties.
Every meal consists of an entrée and side dishes such as fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, grains, dairy and other food products that are needed to provide at least one-third of the recommended daily nutrients for seniors.
The meals provided by Meals on Wheels are low in fat, cholesterol and sodium, and provide the important vitamins and minerals needed by older adults who are homebound.
